I just purchased a condo that had a three piece stained glass used as a window for an upstairs loft.  I have removed the piece and want to try and find out if it is worth anything - How do I do this?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Find a fabrication studio that does custom work, particularly one that's been around a decade or two.  Call and ask if they'd be willing to give you a few minutes to look at your panel.  If they will, bring it in and show it to them (descriptions and photos aren't always enough).  If you're not used to moving glass panels around, ask their advice, to prevent damage to the glass.

I say a custom studio in particular because they often do repairs as well, and are familiar with identifying glass by brand and sometimes age.

If you are out of luck on that score, try any antique store that is also carrying stained glass.  You may want to make it clear whether or not you're asking its value for the sake of insurance or because you want to sell it.

Hope this is helpful.
