Some of you may have been contacted through another means about my search.  If so thanks for the help everyone has given me. However, I'm still looking for a needle in a haystack magazine article.

I have a friend who has been doing stained glass for 40 years and was inspired to begin teaching himself stained glass after reading a magazine article in 1967.  The only things he is certain about is that it was in 1967 - it was about a New York "studio", although he thinks it might have been about the Glass Masters Guild, it was a two page article with a picture of a stained glass piece in the upper part of the right hand (second) page.  The stained glass piece was not a window but a piece that would hang in a window, possibly of butterflies.  The last paragraph was about 5 or 6 lines telling how glass was cut, wrapped with copper, and soldered. That was his inspiration to experiment.  He thought it might have been in Better Homes and Garden, but I have spent hours in the library looking page by page through Better Homes and Garden, House and Garden, and others with no luck so far. He says it was a "home type" magazine.

By any chance does the article ring a bell with anyone? Does anyone have an idea how I might locate the article with such limited information.   I hope to find it as a 40th year gift... so am willing to spend the time needed.
