Hi all

I am interested in buying an older home in northern minnesota.  My goal is to have some windows made (by me) and to get them
set into the existing framework.  I am not sure of the best approach.  Since there is little sun in minnesota my goal is not to have a sandwich of clear glass between it and the outside.  I want as much color as possible.

Churches of course do this.  If there are any folks out there who have set a window into an existing framework I would appreciate
any detail available.

Thanks in advance.

As far as sandwiching 2 pieces of glass with the stained glass in between is not a great idea It may fog up your glass on the inside.
Suggestions are to install the stained glass on the inside of the window glass using push points that are used in installing standard glass.
That way you can remove them to clean the glass.
I made a piece of stained glass for my son's bathroom and we used the push points- it works great and the stained glass colors are bright and shiny  when the sun shines.
good luck with this.
thanks
