HI, I purchased a farily large stained glass window from a Catholic church (German neighbor) that was 'decommissioned' in Phila PA.  At the bottom, in a small pane, it says Uhrig Bros Phila PA.  Any info on Uhrig or on how to get it appraised.  Much appreciated,  Pat

Hi Pat,
I hope you are still checking this website!    I have been researching the stained glass windows at Our Lady of the Assumption church is Strafford PA.  This church has approx a dozen "Uhrig" windows.   I have searched  everywhere for information and have come up short in every effort.  You are the first person that I have come across who has even heard of them.   I can tell you that the windows in our church where installed after 1922 and they are all images of saints.   I do not have all my research info at my present location, but if I get a response from you I will pass on the little that I did find on about Uhrig.   If you have found anything out since your posting, I would appreciate knowing.   What church did your window come from?
Thanks,
Celia
