Has anyone seen pictures of this? This is some really amazing glass work. Very unique.

answered my questions ... Jon Kuhn has long been an artist of note ... his polished and laminated sculptures are of world wide acclaim ... did not however know he was doing stained glass ... been a fan of his sculptural work for many years ... process is tedious and expensive, but the finished product is well worth it ...

This window is the first in a line of SAMPLE windows being made at Salem Stained Glass in East Bend NC. The second design is much simpler and more traditional. The third that is in the works is a residential. I'll post some more pics as they come along. All the samples are leaded and about 21" X 34" or so. Lots of ideas bouncing about in our shop as to the many directions and techniques that can be applied to this. The cold glass bevels in this window are flat on the back side and extend out about 3"and are abot 2.5" square. The windows to come will be beveled on both sides and be about 3 inches thick by 2.25" square. The size and thickness will vary on the upcoming windows as well.
