Independent Assessment

My church has twenty-four stained glass windows that were designed by the Von Gerichter Studio and built at their Munich Studio, Germany. The windows are in dire need of restoration to include repairing and/or replacing frames, caulking, repairing/replacing cracked glass, installing a protective covering, etc.  We need and an independent assessment performed, by an expert, on the current conditions of the windows who can also provide an estimate of cost.  We would like to have this assessment for our capital campaign and before going forward with the bidding process.  Please advise on how to find such an expert.

You will want to contact an Accredited Member of the Stained Glass Association of America. Any of these studios are qualified to assess your windows and give an estimate for repairs and restoration.
