Disclaimer forms for stained glass classes

Repeating this topic in business section;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We teach beginner copper foil and lead classes in our retail store and we are considering the use of a disclaimer form for students to sign before starting class. We are concerned about possible litigation resulting from actual or perceived injuries that might result from taking the class. Examples; getting cut on the glass, getting burned with an iron, exposure to lead products, fumes from flux, etc. Does anyone use a disclaimer in relation to their stained glass business or are we worried for nothing?

You really ought to hire a lawyer who is licensed to practice in your state to advise you on this. The cost of that when compared to any potential damages awarded in a lawsuit will be minimal.
