I see posts here about positive thinking, regarding the forthcoming year and things that can be done to improve things personally.  I read it, I like it, except the staff I have to work on the grants for historic preservation is ....me.  Same guy that cleans the floor and takes out the trash.
Liked the note, but not quite applies to me.

Which addresses the note I now write....

With a wide and large membership as the SGAA, why do you suppose it is there is so little participation here?
Is it that everyone is so busy working they have no time to pop in and say HI! an be about there day, after leaving a tip or 2 about ways to improve studio efficiency, or sharpen a lead knife?  Any little thing to make a board seem like it has a purpose?  Or is that not the case here?

Would be nice to see a thread from studios that are so snowed under with work they could use a couple( 3 or a dozen?) temporary helpers that might be looking here for work. and willing to travel for a paycheck.  and a hotel room to put them up would certainly be cheaper than witholding and extra paperwork.

What about those that have extra inventory, and no where to use it, and the guy who could use some of that stuff that has been in corner?

Regardless of the topic, the activity here by such a large and diverse membership is pathetic. It is though, a reflection of what the current state of economic affairs has done, will do, if we let it.
